Wokingham Schools & Education
Within two miles of the town centre there are 15 primaries, of these 11 have been inspected by Ofsted and round to be “good” whilst Emmbrook Infant School, St Paul’s CofE Junior School, Walter Infant School and Wescott Infant School were all given the highest rating of “outstanding”.
Five state secondary schools serve Wokingham. Of these, The Emmbrook School, St Crispin’s School and High Close School are all “good”. The Holt School is highly regarded, and Ofsted rated it as “outstanding”.
Private education can be found at Luckley House School for girls aged 11–18, Holme Grange School founded in 1945 for Girls and Boys aged 3–16 years and Reading Blue Coat School for girls and boys.
The closest college is Bracknell & Wokingham College, based in Bracknell four miles from the town.
