Wilmslow forms part of the affluent Cheshire Golden Triangle and as such is famous for its expensive detached houses.
The average price for property in Wilmslow stood at £456,297 as of July 2019, according to estimates provided by property analysts, Zoopla.
This represented a rise of 2.30% over the last three months and rise of 3.15% since June last year.
In terms of property types, flats in Wilmslow sold for an average of £256,232 and terraced houses for £290,101
The town has a good range of 3 to 4-bedroom family homes, many of which lend themselves to extension and a few areas with attractive ‘cottage’ period terraced homes popular with first time buyers and young professionals.
Despite the high price tags there are some bargains to be had, including a three bedroomed terraced home currently on the market for £135,000.
