Things to do in Trafford

Leading green spaces in the area include Stamford Park and Sale Water Park, as well as the 18th century Dunham Massey Hall, a stately home surrounded by a 250-acre deer park.

The race for school places fuels the property market in Trafford – but there are some up-and-coming areas where you can still pick up a bargain.
Trafford incorporates the towns of Altrincham, Partington, Sale, Stretford, and Urmston giving buyers a host of options.
Many parts of Trafford still have a rural charm that is indicative of its agricultural past and make wonderful locations for those with children.
Dunham Massey is located west of Trafford within some pretty countryside, homes here sell for £500,00 and over.
Altrincham is not quite so rural, however extremely popular. The average cost of a home in this area is £539,176.
Sale is much more affordable with an average home costing £340,000, but still higher than the overall average for the borough of £265,560.
The cheapest properties can be found in more central locations such as Stretford where you can purchase a two-bedroom apartment for £149,950.
