Hoddesdon started life as a busy coaching stop on the once popular route between Cambridge and London.
Today this attractive, well-kept historic market town sits in a stunning part of the Broxbourne borough of Hertfordshire, in the Lea Valley. Large parts of the town form a conservation area comprising numerous beautiful, historic buildings and inns, many dating back to the 16th century.
