Harpenden Common encompassing an area of around 238 acres, is home to the towns two cricket clubs, golf course and football club. Featuring bridle ways for horse riding, rambling and cycle paths all contained in a Green Flag area of natural beauty.
In addition, the town has large green public spaces available in Rothamsted Park, Batford Park, Kinsbourne Green, Lydekker Park.
