Why Move to Enfield?
Sitting on the edges of the Hertfordshire countryside, Enfield is London’s most northerly borough.
Although it was formed in 1965, there is evidence of inhabitants dating back to prehistoric times with the Roman road from London to York passing through what is now known as Enfield Town.
Despite being 10 miles north-east of Charing Cross, Enfield boasts an array of great transport connections into Central London, making it a great choice for commuters.
The borough is served by no less than four underground stations via the Piccadilly line and Enfield Town has a National Rail station which runs regular services to London Liverpool Street in just 20 minutes!
The centre of town has a thriving modern shopping centre with a range of well-known retailers and some lovely unique independents.
Perhaps the area’s biggest draw is its competitive property prices which pulls in young professionals and families who require quick access to the capital and its amenities without the expensive price tag.
To summarise, Enfield Town is a fantastic area to work and live which offers an eclectic mix of housing options at reasonable prices, great schools for all ages and fast transport connections into the city.
