Chepstow Comprehensive School is a mainstream state school for pupils aged from 11 to 18. With over 1300 pupils it is the main secondary in the town.
Four primaries filter into Chepstow Comprehensive, The Dell, Pembroke, Thornwell, and St Mary’s Roman Catholic School.
Some of Chepstow’s children prefer to travel the short distance to the villages of Tutshill and Sedbury. They are situated on the English side of the Wye River.
Schools in these locations include Wyedean School, and the private preparatory Dean Close St John’s in Tutshill.
