Once you agree to proceed, we’ll set a moving date with you for our removals team and vehicles to arrive at your residence for the big day. Our fully trained removals team will export pack and wrap all items being shipped in special breathable bubble wrap and double-lined cardboard boxes, ensuring your prized possessions are suitably protected.
Secure Storage
White and Company owns and operates its own short and long term warehouse facilities strategically placed in 19 locations throughout the United Kingdom, providing secure, clean and dry containerised storage in personal dedicated storage containers. This ensures all your items are stored and protected from damage prior to despatch.
Overseas Shipping
Upon arrival at a local depot, all goods are transferred to the export warehouse to await loading onto a container. The container is booked onto the first available vessel destined to the closest port of entry to your final destination. Once your shipment arrives at the port of destination, your goods will pass through customs prior to despatch to your new home.

All our home surveys whether they are in person or via our remote video service, are absolutely free of charge and you are not obliged to use our services.
We understand that most people like to obtain two or three quotations.
When I book my move can you deliver packaging material beforehand?
Yes, we can.
Once you have received our quotation and signed it, we can then arrange for boxes, tape and packaging material to be delivered to your home before the move.
However, our removal teams will arrive at your home on the day with all the packaging needed for your move.
What day is cheapest for removals?
There are certain days that tend to be cheaper.
Monday to Thursday are the least popular days that people like to move, so can be slightly cheaper than the busiest days which are Friday and Saturday.

Do I pay in advance for removals?
Payment is generally expected by the time of your moving date. This is the normal procedure for BAR-accredited companies in the industry.
It is important to note that the fee is covered by an Advanced Payment Guarantee (APG) when you choose a BAR member for your move.
Can I pay for my move on-Line?
Certainly, our Customer Payment Portal allows you to pay for your move when it is convenient for you.
You will need your invoice number handy before you start the process.
All major debit and credit cards are acceptable however, we are unable to process American Express cards.
Will White & Company pack for me?
Our full packing service is included in our quotation (unless otherwise stated).
We have professional packers who are well trained and skilled in the art of packing personal effects and furniture.
They will ensure your belongings are packed in clearly marked boxes so that you can identify the contents at the other end.
This service will safeguard your belongings, ensuring they arrive at your new home safe and sound.
Are your staff trustworthy?
It is understandable that you may feel a little apprehensive having a team of removal men in your home packing your personal effects.
However, for our professional crews, moving is their business and they undertake hundreds of move each year.
Before we recruit or allow any of our staff to enter our clients’ homes, they are thoroughly checked and verified by DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).

We do not expect our customers to tip their removal team.
Whilst offering a tip to the team is appreciated, it is never a requirement and should always be done at your discretion.

How soon should I book my move?
As soon as you can is the rule of thumb. 6-8 weeks beforehand is ideal.

Please be aware that although we will endeavour to book your requested dates, during peak summer season, particularly the school holiday period, it is much more difficult.
