Baldocks Mill Heritage Centre. Another opportunity to delve into the past. Spread over three levels, the mill provides a host of interesting displays alongside a permanent exhibition of Raymond Mays the famous racing driver who lived in Bourne all his life.
Rutland Nature Reserve is just 20 minutes from Bourne and well worth the trip. Home to some of the UK’s most loved migrant birds such as the fishing Ospreys. There are several walking trails and two visitor centres to help you get the most out of your visit.
Bourne Woods is owned and managed by the Forestry Commission. A wonderful area with walking and cycling trails, horse riding routes wildlife and lots of designated picnic areas, ideal for a day out amid nature.
