Things to Do in Sterling
Often referred to as “Edinburgh in miniature”, Stirling has its fair share of recreational activities to partake in. This historic town offers sights that are beautiful, inspirational, and unique.
Stirling Golf Course was established way back in 1869. A very friendly club ranked second best course in the region and possibly the most picturesque course in Scotland.

The Peak is an all-round fitness centre with a huge range of things to get involved with; A 25m swimming pool, state of the art gym, a new sports hall with 9 badminton and 3 basketball courts, an ice rink and a 12 metre of wall for climbing, popular with fitness enthusiasts from all over the region.
Stirling Castle was the key to the kingdom of Scotland, dominating a vast volcanic rock above the river Forth at the meeting point between Lowlands and Highlands.
Its origins are ancient and over the centuries it grew into a great royal residence and a powerful stronghold. Today it is a visitor favourite one which local people are extremely proud of. The best way to explore is by taking a guided tour so you are sure not to miss a thing.
Blair Drummond Safari Park, located near Stirling is home to over 350 animals, many of which roam freely or are kept in large enclosures in the 120-acre estate. Over the years the park has become one of Scotland’s busiest tourist attractions.
