Like so many places across the midlands, Middlesbrough is home to a diverse range of things to do.
Transporter Bridge: A really iconic attraction providing visitors with fantastic views and guided tours so that you can learn all about the history of the bridge.
Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art: Commonly referred to as the MIMA this contemporary art gallery boasts a rotating collection of modern and contemporary art. Plus a number of art exhibitions throughout the year showcasing local artist’s work.
Newham Grange Farm: One for the whole family. A working farm with plenty of animals, a play area and a café selling a range of delicious food.
Stewart Park: Covering around 120 acres, the park is home to the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum. Ideal for leisurely strolls and picnics.
Dorman Museum: Located in Albert Park, this museum houses a diverse collection of artifacts, including items from the town’s industrial past, natural history, and local history.
Tees Barrage International White-Water Centre: Packed with exciting and adrenalin-fuelled water sports such as white-water rafting, paddleboarding and canoeing.
